The Essential Movement and Health Journey for Life

5 for the future fundraising flyer

5 for the Future Open Day

Join us at the launch of our 5 for the Future campaign.  This event promises fun for the whole family,  featuring live demonstrations of gymnastics, dance, parkour and more.   Visitors can enjoy 'have a go' sessions on air tracks, foam pits, trampolines and parkour and gymnastics equipment.

There will be food trucks, stalls, community activities and family challenges.  Guests can also donate $5 on the day to join the Founder Donor List and go in the major prize draw.

In partnership with Te Puke Gymsport, Te Puke Dance Studios, The Graeme Dingle Foundation and Te Puke Junior Football.

Our vision is to build a multipurpose headquarters for sport, movement, fitness and health activities in the heart of Te Puke for all of the Bay of Plenty

Collaboration

Collaboration

The Bay of Plenty Movement HQ will collaborate with multiple sport, fitness and health providers to create an accessible, functional multipurpose HQ for sport, movement and wellness for ages 0-99 years.

A place for the whole whanau to participate.  A strong focus on a variety of programmes, inclusivity, affordability and community engagement.  The go to destination for movement in Te Puke and the Bay of Plenty.

A community Hub for movement.

Multiple Sporting Codes

The HQ will cater for 6 sporting codes;

  • Gymnastics

  • Parkour

  • Tumbling

  • Trampoline

  • Dance

  • Soccer

Local, regional and national training facilities and events for these gymsport codes.

It will also contain a space for the Graeme Dingle Foundation, youth development, art, gym and music.

For The Whole Community

For the whole community.  Creating an accessible, community hub for sport, health, fitness and wellness, connection and social engagement for families, young people, youth and elderly.

Listening to our youth, we are addressing their call for better facilities and activities.

A large, state of the art community facility for events, conferences and social functions.  Providing an alternative meeting place for business, formal or informal hosting of clients, team building or fun activities.

A place to provide gymnastics training facilities gymnasts in our region currently drive to Auckland to access.

Current Partners

The HQ will co-locate 4 community organisations and partner with 8.  We envision more partnerships as the project progresses;

  • Te Puke Gymsport

  • Te Puke Dance Studios & Te Puke Hip Hop Academy

  • Te Puke Junior Football

  • The Graeme Dingle Foundation

  • 5 Bay of Plenty Gymsport Clubs - Te Puke Gymsport, Argos Gymnastics Club, Impact Gymsport Academy, EBOP Gymnastics, Mid Island Gymsports.

Our Audience

Mov BOP Collage 2.png

A collaboration of a number of community groups for this project will bring a wide audience from the Bay of Plenty and nationally as events are held.  More community groups, sport, fitness and health partners will come on board as the project progresses.

Our audience will come for the atmosphere, the variety of ways to move, accessibility and ease of having the whole family participate at the same time.
